Kendall James CA internet poker hearings

Two hearings at the state capital have been scheduled to discuss online poker in California.

The first hearing Overview of Gambling in California–Legality, Authorization and Regulation will be held on May 20, 2015 at 1:30pm in the State Capitol, Room 4202.

The second hearing The Legality of Internet Poker–How Prepared is California to Regulate It? will be held on June 24, 2015 at 1:30pm in the State Capitol, Room 4202.

There will also be two Governmental Organization committee meetings.

A.B. No. 9 Gatto. Gambling: Internet poker: unlawful gambling activity A.B. No. 167 Jones–Sawyer. Gambling: Internet poker: unlawful gambling activity on July 8, 2015 at 1:30pm in the State Capitol, Room 4202.

Legislation currently pending

Four bills have been introduced in the 2015-2016 California legislative session. AB 9 by Assemblyman Mike Gatto, AB 167 by Assemblyman Reggie Jones Sawyer, and “compromise bills” by Assemblyman Adam Gray and State Senator Isadore Hall III.
