The month of Grizzly Games action is drawing to a close on Global Poker. But really, the best has yet to come.

On Sunday, Feb. 11, Global Poker hosts not one, not two, but three Main Events to wrap up four weeks of MTT offerings.

Trio of Main Events features SC$75K in guarantees

The Main Events are the 38th trio of tournaments Global Poker ran under the Grizzly Games banner. Across the events, the site guaranteed $1.5 million in the site’s Sweeps Cash.

If you’re unfamiliar with Sweeps Cash, it is part of Global Poker’s sweepstakes model. Players are not buying in and competing with USD. Instead, they purchase Global Poker’s own currency, Gold Coins.

Players can use these Gold Coins at the cash game-esque Gold Coins table or to buy-in to GC tournaments. For SC tournaments, players need to buy-in with Sweeps Cash. Players earn Sweeps Dollars whenever they purchase Gold Coins. They can also win Sweeps Dollars as a prize for the tournament.

Sweeps Dollars, unlike Gold Coins, can be cashed out and deposited as real dollars in a person’s account.

There will be plenty of Sweeps Dollars up for grabs on Sunday too. Additionally, each Main Event winner gets their own Grizzly Games commemorative trophy.

Here is a look at the Main Event buy-ins and times:

  • GPC Grizzly Main Event Low: SC$22 buy in, SC$10,000 guaranteed 3:15 p.m. EST
  • GPC Grizzly Main Event Medium: SC$58 buy-in, SC$15,000 guaranteed 3:45 p.m. EST
  • GPC Grizzly Main Event High: SC$218 buy in,¬†SC$50,000¬†guaranteed 4:15 p.m. EST

Be sure to check out the complete Global Poker Grizzly Games schedule though, as there are still several prelim events running through Sunday as well.

Satellite Saturday can get you in Main Event on the cheap

If these Sweeps Coin buy-in for the big buy-in Main Event are a little too pricey for you, clear up your Saturday evening.

Global Poker is running a mega satellite on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 4:25 p.m. ET. The SC$22 buy-in has 25 High buy-in Main Event seats guaranteed. Each seat is worth SC$218.

The event will run as a six-max freezeout with a turbo structure.

The Main Events will be the last chance to rack up points for the site’s leaderboard competitions. These contests feature an additional SC$15,000 in prizes.
